Who runs Roadtrip

Roadtrip is a free daily trivia game at dailyroadtrip.com, made by the Roadtrip team. Questions about this page or your data: [email protected].

What the game keeps on your device

Your trips, streak, stats and sound settings are saved in your own browser (local storage) so the game remembers them next time. Clearing your browser data for this site deletes them.

If you make an account

Accounts are optional. If you sign in with Google, we store your email address and your saved trips and streak so they follow you to other devices. Sign in and storage are provided by Supabase. You can delete your saved data at any time from the account window in the game, or ask us to delete your account.

News emails

We only send Roadtrip news and reminders if you tick the box asking for them. The box starts unticked, and signing in by itself never adds you to the list. Every news email has an unsubscribe link, and you can also untick the box in the account window at any time. We never sell your email address.

Answers people type

To keep the questions fair, the game records which answers are given at each stop and which guesses were not accepted, without your name or email attached. This is how we find missing answers and see which answers are truly rare.

Visitor counts

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views and visits. It does not use cookies, does not save anything on your device, and does not follow you to other websites.

Ads and cookies

Roadtrip is paid for by ads from Google AdSense. Google and other ad companies it works with use cookies and similar technology to show ads, including ads based on your visits to this site and other sites on the internet.

If you visit from the European Economic Area, the UK or Switzerland, you are asked for consent before personalized ads or analytics are used, and you can change your choice at any time through the privacy settings link on the page.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example the EU, the UK, or US states such as California), you may have the right to know what data is collected about you, to ask for it to be deleted, and to opt out of personalized advertising. Email [email protected] and we will help.

Children

Roadtrip is made for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
